About Sourcewise

Sourcewise is a fact-checking and research workspace for journalists, analysts, policy staff, educators, researchers, and informed citizens. It keeps primary datasets, research, cross-spectrum reporting, existing fact-checks, and media provenance in one auditable investigation.

Our mission is not to tell people what to think. It is to make the evidence record easier to inspect: every verdict needs sources, every bias label includes its methodology, and every unresolved question remains visible.

Sourcewise cannot determine truth on a user’s behalf. Bias labels are directional judgments rather than measurements, reverse-search results are never exhaustive, and the absence of a prior fact-check does not verify a claim.
